Frequently Asked Questions

Before You Register

What Does Registering a Mandate Involve?

Choose General, Specific, or Both, then tell us who you are and what you buy. Each Specific Mandate has its own criteria. You can check your answers before you send them. It takes about 5 minutes. We don't check anything at this stage and don't ask for documents.

Does It Cost Anything, or Tie Me In?

Registering costs nothing and isn't exclusive. You don't have to buy anything, and you can still look for deals anywhere else. You can narrow, widen or withdraw your mandate at any time. If there's a fee, it's agreed in writing with whoever it applies to before any introduction.

What Does "Qualified" Actually Mean?

It means Artemis has asked a set list of questions about the facts we have, and scored the answers. You see what we know, what we don't, and how sure we are. If a question hasn't been answered yet, it stays as not known. We never fill it in, and on its own it doesn't stop a situation being matched.

  • Who controls the asset, and who else has to consent
  • Whether they can sell, with proof, not just their word
  • The real timetable, and what is setting it
  • Any debt secured on it, and where the lender or receiver stands
  • Title, planning and any legal process attached to it
  • Occupancy, tenure and condition
  • What's still unresolved, said out loud, not left out
How Much Will I Be Sent?

Only situations that match your mandate. Artemis doesn't send things out to a mailing list. We can't promise how many you'll get, because that depends on what people bring us.

When Am I Asked to Prove Funds?

When there's a specific situation on the table, not when you register. Showing you can afford it is what makes an introduction worth the seller's time, so we ask then, not before.

What Does Artemis Not Do?

Artemis doesn't give investment, legal, tax, valuation or financial advice. We don't arrange or broker regulated finance, hold client money, buy or take a stake in any situation we introduce, or negotiate for either side. We don't guarantee how many deals you'll see, or any price, funding or completion. Everyone takes their own advice.

Ready? A mandate takes one sitting, costs nothing and doesn't tie you in.
